Brand
begins like this.
Some
time in the year of 2002, two representatives of Wheelpak
visited me. And they, who were coming with the idea of
wheeled backpack, were telling their idea plan with serious
and flashing eyes. The plan was that they were planning to
make ‘L’ backpack protecting spines of children.
And I made a decision to do the
consulting of Wheelpak because I was so pleased
with their ambitions about the starting of wheeled
bag business in Korea rather than attractive introduction of
Wheelpak by various data based on their experiences in
foreign countries, including America.
Although they were having no
experiences of making bags, they, who knew
differences of good products very well, were already
successful.
Wheelpak is
Science.
It has passed
2 years of introducing Wheelpak. Now, there are trends of
big difference in Korea where people were thinking natural
for wearing a backpack on the shoulder. And we can say that
this trend is originated from the birth of Wheelpak. It is
fact that there is many companies’ establishment in the same
field of industry; however, products of Wheelpak are
implying the originality and scientific know-how.
Wheelpak is
Culture.
Cultural of
drawing backpack is can be easily founded from foreign
countries. As parents raising kids in America, it was
possible to realize that parents’ devotion for their kids
has something in common between America and Korea. And also,
it was possible to know that the rolling backpack is
appearing as one of the alternative plan for children
suffering from heavy load.
However,
although rolling backpacks were introduced in Korea several
years ago, products were not quite suitable in Korea
regarding the road conditions, children’s physical
conditions, and educational environment. The culture of
Wheelpak starting from those experiences is just like an

When Wheelpak was first introduced, customers’ responses were very enthusiastic. With the full support from parents, Wheelpak is now presenting to more students. And it is becoming generalized that is easy to see students having a rolling backpack. Moreover, the fact that Wheelpak is used more in place, where having relatively high educational fever, shows actual passion of children as well as parents.

Wheelpak has been showed the naturalness of design by
locating the metal handle to the reverse side of the
shoulder. Moreover, Wheelpack is finally produced at the end
of making excellence with accessories and careful

After that, Wheelpak has been growing as
2005 New Wheelpak through two renewals. Passing by several
renewals on a single product is impossible unless it gets

The first
glance at Wheelpack makes customers to think that has good
design though the design is little (by one’s point of view)
childish. Wheelpak implies the spirit of our company that
will make products for children thoroughly. Wheelpak is a
brilliant product with passing through many tests, including
reference tests. Perfect connection between design and
function raised the completion of Wheelpak.
When looking more closely into Wheelpak,
its bumper type guard has been changed for the most. For
long-time using, bumper pack of Wheelpak has newly upgraded
to possibly exchange the lower part of the backpack easily,
which is the most damaging part when drawing backpack by
using board material of ABS. Renewed Wheelpak has a more
solid look and design completion regarding its design than
the first-generation Wheelpak. Existing wheels of Wheelpack
can be replaced by anyone.
Since
Wheelpak has been using wheels for inline skate use, it is
designed for anyone to replace wheels with 64mm for inline
skate use. Also, for replacing with ball, Wheelpak’s wheels
can be installed after purchasing at a general merchandise
store. Adopting of inline skating-use wheels were a smash
hit indeed. Wheelpak had almost no noise when its wheels are
rolling, and its passing impulse to hand was minimized. This
upgraded product contains efforts of raising the
completion.
The color of handle system is
changed from black to the same color with textile (has
luxury feeling) and the operation of handle system becomes
soft. Using Wheelpak cleanly is possible from covering
wheels indoor by providing a wheel cover. And, Wheelpak with
high length designing minimizes the damage of lower part and
stains. Newly changing of Wheelpak is the result of
researchers’ efforts and listening of customers’ reactions.

are added while reversing the saying that Wheelpak may not
grow anymore because of the popularity of the existing
product. For example, rubber band for fixing umbrella and
side pockets are newly added and Wheelpak rain cover for
rainy weather is developed.

removable backpack straps for children, who often draw their
backpacks, are good points of this product. Also, although
there were no comments on the size of Wheelpak, extensive
zipper that can extend the inside space of the backpack are
newly added. Timetable and nametag with rubber band are
showing Wheelpak’s in-depth concerns to children.
