Is Wheelpak
an International Company?
No. Wheelpak Co., Ltd. is a Korean
company. We are sometimes misunderstood as a company in
America. However, our company is an original Korea company
that was established with responsibility to make excellent
rolling backpacks, which was first started in foreign
countries, through research and development considering
Korean circumstance. Also, Wheelpak Co., Ltd. is expressing
the pride regarding the brand from identifying product brand
name and the name of the company.
Is
Wheelpak for only elementary school
students?
That is
absolutely not true. Because, KIDS Line, which is the
smallest size among our products, is targeting on 1~3rd
grades of elementary school, but is also the right size for
kindergarten students. Also, although large-sized JUNIOR
Line is targeting on 4~6th grades of elementary school, it
is big enough even for middle school students.
Is Wheelpak a traveling
bag?
Wheelpak is a
backpack for children. However, Wheelpak products can be
also used for other uses, including traveling.
Do foreign students often
use a rolling backpack?
Yes, they do. Check out video clips about situation in
America on our website. In many countries including America,
rolling backpack is a very popular item and used a lot by
students. There are even some private elementary schools
that require using rolling backpack regarding students’

Wheelpak has perfectly solved this problem of the existing
rolling backpack by introducing the carrying system with
front wheels, which is our own developed product applied for
patent.
Lastly, wheels of Wheelpack rolling backpack have remarkably less noise compared to those of the common plastic wheels because its wheels are made of urethane with 68% of high-elasticity, which is applied to skate with less-noise. And, it can be drawn softly by significant decreasing of impulse that is delivered to hands through wheels. Semi-permanent product with international standard’s bearing system satisfies customers taste while covering Hub part with color and covering the outside with transparent urethane for color matching of the backpack. And it is designed to be a part of decoration even when wearing the backpack.
Isn’t Wheelpak heavy
because of the wheels?
It is true that Wheelpak is little heavier than common
backpack because of the characteristics of rolling backpack
that requires a handle frame, lower board and wheels.
However, it is also a problem whether a backpack, which
exceeds 10% of children’s weight, can be worn or
can be drawn. Even if it is so, Wheelpak Co., Ltd. is keep
doing the best in overall parts, including design or
material selection for decreasing the weight of the
backpack. As the result, 2004 New Wheelpak weights 1.25 kg
for kids and 1.45kg for juniors. These are lessening of 200g
compared to the existing model of Wheelpak. And we are proud
that we have made a remarkable change against the existing
one. From now on, we promise to make the best efforts to
reduce more weight of backpack.
Isn’t the shoulder strap
trails from drawing of backpack?
No. There is no trailing of backside
shoulder straps because wheels and carrying system of
Wheelpak are attached on the front side that carries
backpack to the forward. For more safety, shoulder straps
are made as removable type that can put aside the shoulder
straps in the back pocket of the backpack.
